Experience Waldorf Workshop
Come experience a day in a typical Waldorf School.
For students, teachers, aspiring teachers, parents or anyone who would like to know more about Waldorf Education. We will be meeting together to better understand Waldorf Education. The day will begin with a brief outline of Waldorf Education, followed by a sample main lesson. There will be subject lessons to choose from including games, stories, handwork and Eurythmy.
The workshop will be led by Whitney Macdonald, former teacher at The Emmerson Waldorf School in Chapel Hill.
Lunch provided Hawaiian Haystacks (rice, quinoa, vegetables, some fruit, meat optional)
Price of Workshop : $65
Whitney MacDonald holds a Masters in Education from Antioch University. He coached and taught in the Emmerson Waldorf School in Chapel Hill for 14 years. He has lectured on education both domestically and abroad. He now runs Sakkonet Passage, a rites of passage program for Boys and men. He lives in Hillsborough, NC with his wife, two teenage sons, and dog Stella.
